Fraught with the Love of Liberty and Greece,
Demosthenes had not a Moment's Peace
Till he compleated what from Nature came,
And gain'd what Nature had deny'd his Frame.
The ardent Orator along the Beach,
As we're inform'd himself was wont to teach,
And give his Elocution to the Waves,
That Athens might not prove a Troop of Slaves.

And gain'd what Nature had deny'd his Frame.
The ardent Orator along the Beach,
As we're inform'd himself was wont to teach,
