To graith our place full meit

And left with vs his Spreit:
To worship Spirituallie,
Onlie to be our remedie.

Apply vs haillelie,
To serue our God alone,
In Spreit and veritie,
Alone to be our remedie.
Na kynde of outward deid,
How haly that euer it be,
May saif vs at our neid
Nor ȝit vs Iustifie
Nor ȝit can mak vs remedie.
Bot Christ we neid nathing
Quhaicthrow sauit we suld be
He is ane potent King
And will alanerlie
Onlie be our remedie
His testament maist perfyte
Plainely dois testifie,

That nane may saif bot he
Nor ȝit can mak vs remedie.

To ring Eternallie,
We worschip stock and stone,
Can nouther heir nor se
Nor ȝit can mak vs remedie.
We haue dwelt all to lang
In fals Hypocrisie,
Trew faith Lord mak vs fang
Wirkand be cheritie
Only to be our remedie.
