EX ANTHOL.

TRANSLATION.

Loving I was belov'd, and I enjoy'd:—
Still with strong tide my heady passions flow;—
But who the Lover, or the Love,
Or where the Theft—the Pow'rs above
And you, my Goddess, only know.
