IFC Inspection

With electricity, gas, telephone,
and water disconnected, the fraternity
house passed the IFC inspection
and was locked up for the
summer months, a Delta Upsilon
brother said.

Damage to the house from the
fire has been appraised at $40,000.
A house brother reported extensive
rain damage has since worsened the
condition of the house.

Both the second and third floors
were completely charred by the
raging flames. Holes in the roof and
blackened window frames can be
seen from the street. Inside, the
parts of the house that were saved
from the fire have been rotted by
the torrents of rain that have been
characteristic of the past summer.
