It is good for me that I have been in trouble. —cxix. 71.

Of blessings infinite I read,
“The foremost, that my heart hath bled,”
And thank Thee for a moment's pain,
Whose fruit shall evermore remain;
How good for me the suffering given!
'Tis grace, 'tis holiness, 'tis heaven!
