The Little Town

And poor and small and shabby though it be,
Each little Town's the world's epitome.
Envy and hatred, avarice and pride,
Love, hope, and resignation, here abide,
And virtuous effort rises over fate,
And vice meets dismal shipwreck, soon or late.
