Iohn was the Morning-starre that did fore-run
The long-wisht rising of our Glorious Sun:
The first word that Iohns preaching lips expressed
Was this, Repent: Our Saviours first, was, Blessed:
Iohn makes th'incision; Iesus makes it sound;
Iesus nere cures, where Iohn ne're made a wound.
