My Lyrical Life
LEAVE-TAKING.
When
the wings are feathered,
The birds forsake their nest;
So the Bride will leave her Home
Leaning to her Lover's breast.
The tear was in her eye,
But the soul was smiling through,
Brimful of sunshine
As a drop of summer dew.
