VERSES,

Written to a Friend on his Marriage.

What! has that heart, so wild, so roving,
So prone to changing, sighing, loving,
Which widows, maids, attack'd in vain,
At last submitted to the chain?
Who is this paragon, this matchless she,
That's fix'd a weather-cock like thee?
