A perfect tricke to kill little blacke flees in ones chamber.

Take halfe a quart of barly graine
a quart of strongest beere.
And boyle withall in earthen pot,
a pint of water cleere,
Till all these three consumed be
to ounces twelue or lesse,
And then the place to which you will
these fleas in heaps to presse,

Anoynt with that: this water hath
in it this vertue raw
That all the fleas will thither come:
then take a slender strawe,
And tickle them on the small ribs,
and when you see one gape,
Thrust thē the straw into his mouth.
and death he ne shall scape.
