To them Volusius, and Conspirators, with their Swords drawn.Tullus.
Seize, and secure the Traitor!
Coriolanus.
[Laying his Hand upon his Sword.
Who dares approach me, dies!

[As Coriolanus draws his Sword, Volusius and the Conspirators rush upon and stab him. Tullus standing by without having drawn his Sword.
Coriolanus.
[Endeavouring to free himself.
Off!—Villains!
[Falling.
Oh murdering Slaves! Assassinating Cowards!
[Dies.
