SONNET.
[I die with too transporting Joy]
I die with too transporting Joy,
If She I love rewards my Fire;
If She's inexorably Coy,
With too much Passion I expire.
If She I love rewards my Fire;
If She's inexorably Coy,
With too much Passion I expire.
No Way the Fates afford to shun
The cruel Torment I endure;
Since I am doom'd to be undone
By the Disease, or by the Cure.
The cruel Torment I endure;
Since I am doom'd to be undone
By the Disease, or by the Cure.
