A Thracian lad on Ice-bound Heber playes,The glassie Pavement with his waight decayes.
Whilsts with his lower parts the river fled,
The meeting Ice cut off his tender head,
Which having found, the Son-less mother urnd,
Those to be drownd were born, this to be burnd.
