Soul of my Country! if thou art not hid
From thine own eyes, arouse thee and forbid
A prophecy so dark! Wake in thy might,
And o'er thy youthful beauty wear the bright
And spotless robe of holiness divine,
That the whole world may see no brighter land than thine!
