Turan-Mirze Kamal, a virtuoso concert guitarist, will appear at the Ballroom of the Boar's Head Inn on Thursday, October 26, at 8:45 p.m. A student of such famous masters as Andre Segovia and John Williams, Kamal has been acclaimed for his rare musical and intellectual achievements. Following the solo presentation, Michael Kasha of Florida State University will give an illustrated lecture on the history and design of stringed instruments. Tickets are $2 and available at Mincer's and the local music shops. The event is sponsored by the University's Symposium on Quantum Biophysics.
