Pinball Wizard

If you live in the Alderman
dorm area, the Village Inn is not
too far for a walk. Go down
Alderman Road past the stadium
and bear right all the way. Good
food as well as pinball are offered.

On Route 29 South, towards
Interstate 64, one finds the crispest
pizza at Archie's, German
specialities at the Schnitzel House,
and fine oriental food at the
Chinese Dragon.

North on Route 29 is Fiji Island
(at the Downtowner Motor Inn.)
New this year, it features
Polynesian food and exquisite rum
drinks. Plastic leis and bright
dancing figures decorate the old
colonial style coffee room.

Further north, the Gaslight has
moved from Main Street to the
Barracks Road shopping center. It
offers an appetizing selection and
one of the most interesting
atmospheres in town. Also in the
expensive but tasty group are the
nearby King's Table, the Dutch
Pantry, and That Steak Place. Lord
Hardwicke's Inn has good sandwich
meals as well as mixed drinks.

If you really enjoy excellent
meals, try the Boar's Head Inn on
250 West, Gus' Steak House on the
same highway, or the Angus Barn
on Route 29 north near the
Holiday Inn, or the Library on
Emmet Street.
