ELECTION OF PROFESSORS EMERITI
The Chancellor proposed and the Board adopted the following resolution
RESOLVED by the Board of Visitors of The Rector and Visitors of the University of Virginia that
the following faculty members and former faculty members be and they are hereby elected Professors
Emeritt
Mr. Vladimir V. Brenner, former Professor of Russian and German, effective 20 April 1963. Mr.
Brenner joined the faculty in September 1944 and retired in June 1961.
Mr. Oscar H. Darter, former Professor of History, effective 20 April 1963. Mr. Darter joined the
faculty in September 1926 and retired in September 1960.
Mr. James H. Dodd, former Professor of Economics and Business Administration, effective 20 April
1963. Mr. Dodd joined the faculty in September 1928 and retired in June 1962
Mr. Milton H. Stansbury, Professor of Modern Foreign Languages, who retires in June 1963 and has
been on the faculty since September 1943
