O lovely Host,Thou art the Rose
That on us from the desert glows!
II
Thou art the FlowerBelovèd so
Beyond all other flowers that blow.
III
Thy stillness isSo still in Thee,
We hear the movings of the Trinity.
IV
Thy sweetness dothProlong so far
We find it where the grave-clothes are.
V
How fair Thou art!Thou fill'st the air;
Behold, O Host, how Thou art fair!
