Dear Sir:

I am writing in regard to a
problem which I feel is being
overlooked by the University
Community and is of great concern
to many of us, that is the trampling
of the Lawn by pedestrians and
bicyclists. With expansion foremost
on all of our minds, let us not
overlook this problem-do not let
overcrowding force us into
destroying another unique aspect of
the University. Each of us can help
by not taking short-cuts or by
taking a little extra time to get to
class. Isn't the Lawn worth
preserving?
