Third Side Wins

The Cavalier third side won over
the Sud-Americano "B" team by a
10-4 margin. Greg Luce scored a try
for the Cavaliers while Andy
Anderson kicked the conversions.

West Virginia Wesleyan provided
the competition for the fourth
Cavalier side and gave the Virginia
team the closest game of the day as
they resisted stiffly before falling
12-10.

Randy Greslin starred in this
contest as he scored on two runs of
about fifty yards and had several
other long sprints. Ron Pulliam also
scored a try for the Cavaliers.

The ruggers stay on the road this
week as teams travel to two
different places. The "A" side and
two other squads will travel to
College Station, Pennsylvania, to
take on Penn State, while the
"Turques" will go to Lexington to
play Washington and Lee.
