impressive dating, Poe's is right.
Although sandwiches are served,
beer is pushed and Irish coffee can
be obtained. The highly ornate
decor, which includes a raven is
ideal for "plastic fantastic" lovers.

Up the hill near the University
theatre is the University Diner. One
can also reach the diner by means
of the railroad tracks, if coming
from the fraternity area. This diner
is famous for omelets, one-eyed
bacon cheeseburgers, doughnuts
and ice cream, and early morning
service. At this end of the Corner
also is Howard Johnson's, which
speaks for itself.

Charlottesville has three
cafeterias. The Ken Johnson
Cafeteria is in the Barracks Road
shopping center, the University
Cafeteria is on the Corner, and then
... food services on the Grounds. A
decent meal can be had at these
places for standing in line.
