[Faithful, O God, Thy threatening word]
But if ye forsake Him, He will forsake you.
—xv. 2.
Faithful, O God, Thy threatening word,
And righteous Thy decree,
Whoe'er deny their gracious Lord
Shall be denied by Thee:
His pardon, who to sin turns back,
Thou surely wilt revoke,
The' apostate utterly forsake
And blot out of Thy book.
