[Wisdom Divine I long to know]
Give me now wisdom and knowledge.
—i. 10.
Wisdom Divine I long to know:
The wisdom which Thou art,
Jesus, on a poor worm bestow,
And speak into my heart:
I never can be satisfied,
Till Thou art fully given;
On earth I nothing want beside,
Nothing besides in heaven.
