[Accepting what the poor bestow'd]
I will receive none.
—v. 16.
Accepting what the poor bestow'd,
He spurn'd the riches of the great,
To show the world, a man of God
Trampling as dirt beneath his feet
The things they ignorantly prize,
Lays up his treasure in the skies.
