The team faced N.C. State in the
other game yesterday as the
weekend series started a heavy
schedule in the next three weeks
which sees the Cavaliers face 1
opponents in 19 days. Included in
the 13 games are 11 with ACC
opponents.
Ed Kihm was scheduled to pitch
against N.C. State.
After the game yesterday with
the Wolfpack, who topped
Maryland 14-6 Saturday, the
Cavaliers return to Lambeth Field
today for the start of a six-game
home stand starting today at 2:30
with a contest against Big Five
opponent VMI.
The loss to UNC was only the
third for the Cavaliers against 17
victories. It was the second ACC
loss in a tow, bringing the
conference record to 2-2 before the
N.C. State game
