Football Kudos

May I use your columns to salute
the Cavalier football team for its
intestinal fortitude and finesse this
season. This team, expected by the
so-called experts to win only two
games at best, simply outdid itself

Coach Blackburn and his staff
deserve plaudits. So does the full
football squad, with special kudos
to Captain Malcolm Ian MacGregor,
Frank Quayle, Gene
Arnette and all of the seniors.

This team did a lot for the morale
of us long-time Cavalier fans.
