[David's true, celestial Son]
There was neither hammer nor axe, &c.
—vi. 7.
David's true, celestial Son
Carries thus His building on,
Joins the stones before prepared,
By the line and plummet squared:
Who the sure foundation lays,
He completes the work of grace,
He brings forth the crowning-stone,
Perfects all His saints in one.
