His meteor train the northern foe appals,
And to their base shakes Copenhagen's walls.
Here Moss and Riou for their country bled,
And join'd in better worlds the patriot dead.
Denmark and Sweden now to peace attend,
And Paul's demise, of Russia makes a friend.
Saumarez adds to former gain
Of laurels, at expence of Spain.
