On JOHN PETTIGREW Minister at Givan.
Here lies a rev'rend Givan priest,Who sure against his will's deceast;
His soul's to Abram's bosom fled,
As by his rev'rend elders said.
Others who knew his youthful joys,
Say, Sarah's rather was his choice.
But be it as it will, his scabbard's humbl'd,
Death tripp'd up his heels, and down he tumbled.
