Prism Hosts 'Group W'
Tonight the Prism Coffee House
features Marcia Day and Steve
Reynolds, formerly the "Group W
Bench" hailing from Lansing,
Michigan. They performed a guest
set last weekend and the reception
was so good as to prompt their
return tonight. Steve plays guitar
and shares vocals with Marcia
ranging from folk to original
material.
Saturday night Phyllis Knight
returns with her 12-string guitar. A
long-time Prism favorite, Miss
Knight writes virtually all of her
own music and may be
accompanied by Gary Greenwood.
Doors open both nights at 8
p.m. and the cover is 50 cents. The
final set starts around 9:15, but
standing Prism policy has it that the
show goes on as long as the
audience and performers see fit.
Thus far, the coffee house has never
closed before 2:30 a.m.
Additionally, Prism-goers may
partake of the delights of Lestr's
Rak, a head shop, and the
Solidarity Bookstore.
