As Easter approaches and some
students begin to return home for
the weekend, the local churches
have issued the schedule of services:

- At Westminster Presbyterian
Church, 190 Rugby Rd., Sunday
services are at 9:30 and 11 a.m.
Tonight a Good Friday service
entitled "Office of the Tenebrae
Service" will begin at 8 p.m.

- At St. Paul's Episcopal
Church, 1700 University Avenue,
Holy Communion will be on
Sunday at 8 and 11. A liturgy
service will begin at 9:15.

To commemorate the anniversary
of the death of Martin Luther
King, St. Paul's will hold a
memorial service at 5 p.m. this
afternoon, with all offerings being
contributed to the Transition fund.

This past week is also Passover,
an eight day festival which began
last Wednesday, April 2, with the
observance of Seder, the feast at
which Jews recall their exodus from
Egypt.

For some Jews, this feast is
celebrated by observing special
dietary requirements. At the Hillel
foundation, passover meals have
been served throughout last week,
and will continue until Thursday.

- At St. Thomas Roman Catholic
Church, on Kent Rd., near the
first year dorms, Sunday mass will
be held at 9, 10:30, 12, and at 5:15
p.m. Good Friday mass begins
tonight at 5 p.m.
