The single victory (over Navy)
was an experience in patience for
the Cavaliers. The Middies hit 12
of their first 13 shots, but Virginia
stuck with them and waited for
their opponents to become human
once again.

Norm Carmichael and Tony
Kinn were the offensive stars with
28 and 24 points respectively. Mike
Wilkes and Mike Katos also hit
double figures in a game which
saw Coach Gibson use every Virginia
player.
