INSCRIPTION FOR THE ROSE-TREE BROUGHT BY MR. W. SIMPSON FROM OMAR'S TOMB IN NAISHÁPÚR, AND PLANTED TO-DAY ON THE GRAVE OF EDWARD FITZGERALD, AT BOULGE.
Reign here, triumphant Rose from Omar's grave,
Borne by a fakir o'er the Persian wave;
Reign with fresh pride, since here a heart is sleeping
That double glory to your Master gave.
