Partem fusi monstrantur in omnem
Lugentes Campi, sic illos nomine dicunt.
Hic quos durus amor crudeli tabe peredit,
Secreti celant calles, et myrtea circum
Sylva tegit; curæ non ipsa in morte relinquunt:
His Phædram, Procrinque locis, mæstamque Eriphylen;
Inter quas Phœnissa recens a vulnere Dido,
Quam miserans longe Æneas miseratur euntem!
Lugentes Campi, sic illos nomine dicunt.
Hic quos durus amor crudeli tabe peredit,
Secreti celant calles, et myrtea circum
Sylva tegit; curæ non ipsa in morte relinquunt:
His Phædram, Procrinque locis, mæstamque Eriphylen;
