Dwelleth not in temple which mans handes edifyed
For he it is, that to all men gyueth lyfe and breath
He is not worshipped with mannes handes thus the text sayth
But hath apointed all thinges, how long they shal remain
Thus do we know hym the true god, and none but he certeyne

No small profyte haue these goddes gotten them alonge season
Nedes muste their hertes lament therfore, and be ful woo
For now begynne they, to roore and crye aboue all reason
Their great goddase Diana, they muste neades forgo
And not onely that, but their abused temple also
From hence forth, shal be dispised, and had in great disdein
Which no doubt vnto their hertes, shalbe a greuons paine
