If my bookes easie of digestion be,
Thanke not my matter reader but thanke me,
How many verses haue I cancelled?

Howe many lompes of meaning seasoned.
I suffer Epigrams to sprowte forth, when
I vse mine arte, and prune them with my pen.
For he that will write Epigrams indeed,
Must vse to wring the meaning till it bleede.
