444.
[Thy people by the world abhorr'd]
Thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God.
—i. 16.
Thy people by the world abhorr'd
I for my people take,
And serve the servants of my Lord,
For their dear Master's sake:
Appeased and reconciled to me,
Through Thine atoning blood,
Thy Father and Thy God shall be
My Father and my God.
