SOUTHERN CHEMICAL COMPANY
The Southern Chemical Company, manufacturers of
high-grade fertilizer at Roanoke, Virginia, was organized
and incorporated in 1904, the officers being as
follows: R. S. McCluer, President; L. H. Brugh, Vice
President; W. H. McCluer, Secretary and Treasurer.
This enterprise has been conducting business for the
past seven years, operating a large manufacturing
plant in the northeast section of the city. Its experimental
period
