Oh, what a happy meeting had been here,Willoby thought, in anguish, when he prest
His daughter to his widow'd breast;
If that dear hope which served so long to cheer
His patient labours in the wilderness
Had wholly been fulfill'd, as now in part;
After so many storms and troubles past,
Here had the faithful partner of his heart
Rejoiced to reach the quiet port at last.
