The Tinker's Courtship.
Come Jug, tho' thou'rt tawny,
I'll make thee my Honey,
Thou'rt youthful and charming,
Altho' thou'rt so brown;
Thy Features and Favours,
Thy Smiles and Behaviours,
To me are more warming,
Than Paint, Powder, Patches,
Fine Dresses, Gold-Watches,
Now worn by each Jilt of the Town.
I'll make thee my Honey,
