On the words, Scriptum est.
Our Saviour gives the perfect RevelationTo his Disciples of his Death, and Passion,
When Wisemen see known Dangers they prevent um;
Yet Christ fore-saw his Wrongs, but under-went um:
He did expect no quiet, ease, or rest,
Untill he had perform'd Quod scriptum est.
