On Friday evening, January 7, the University Singers, under the direction of Donald Loach, will present a concert of "Music for Shakespeare". The program, which will be given in Cabell Hall Auditorium at 8:30, will feature musical settings of songs from Shakespeare's plays. In addition, the Singers will perform in concert scenes from Henry Purcell's Restoration opera, "The Tempest". Members of the University and Community Orchestra will assist. Tickets are on sale at the usual places and may also be purchased at the door.
