Tucked away within one of the protective alcoves of our stately Rotunda, this pleasant patch of snow-white tulips greet the climber of the long hill from the Corner. Crimson azaleas, their color just beginning to show, provide a contrasting background for the long-necked Dutch beauties. Framed by these tulips, the bubbling fountain in the center beckons the weary student to pause and rest for a moment in the cool shade of the magnolia sheltered-sacrosanct-A gentle quiet hangs over the scene and softly complements this small pocket of Nature.
