PROMOTION
The Board adopted the following resolution:
RESOLVED by the Board of Visitors of The Rector and Visitors of the University of Virginia
that Dr. Mary Ellen Stephenson be and she is hereby promoted to Associate Professor of
Spanish on a full-time basis, effective September, 1953, with a salary of $4,500 for the
academic year.
