Epigr. 24. In Mathonem.

Matho with angry countenance threatned me.
For that I toucht him in a verse of mine.
I said I knewe it not, not so quoth he?
That can I shew: and pointed to the rime.
So he accusde himselfe, for had not he,
He might haue kept concealements close for me.
