Though he may grieve, let me withhold thee from him!
With what a blaze of wealth has he adorn'd it!
What gems are here! I'll leave it in her sight;
This silent proof should more commend his suit,
Than hot-breath'd vows, whose common vehemence
Their common violation quickly follows.
