My sheepe are thoughts, which I both guide and serve:
Their pasture is faire hilles of fruitlesse Love:
On barren sweetes they feede, and feeding sterve:
I waile their lotte, but will not other prove.

My sheepehooke is wanne hope, which all upholdes:
My weedes, Desire, cut out in endlesse foldes.
What wooll my sheepe shall beare, whiles thus they live,
In you it is, you must the judgement give.
