THE PEAK.
As
on some solitary height
Abides, in summer's fierce despite,
Snow-blossom that no sun can blight,
No frost can kill;
So, in my soul,—all else below
To change succumbing,—stands aglow
One wreath of immemorial snow,
Unscattered still.
