[Obedience is our pure delight]
Keep and do them, for this is your wisdom.
—iv. 6.
Obedience is our pure delight,
Our wisdom, glory, gain,
Unblamable in Jesu's sight
We all with Him obtain:
For while we out of love obey,
Unto salvation wise
We walk in wisdom's pleasant way,
Which leads us to the skies.
