[The sins which men at Thy command]
I shall do unto you, as I thought to do unto them.
—xxxiii. 56.
The sins which men at Thy command
Refuse, O God, to' expel,
Shall sweep them off the promised land,
Shall drive them out to hell;
The lusts which for the Saviour's sake
They will not mortify,
Shall bring Thy threaten'd curse, and make
Their souls for ever die.
